I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Makeover Restoration Services. I met Bob a few years ago and am thankful to have found his services as I needed to recommend him to a family member. My daughter had come home from a weekend away to discover that a large cabinet that was hung on her wall was laying face down on the floor. In examining the wall she saw the the bolts had detached from the wall and the wall was wet to the touch. Upon further examination she suspected a substantial leak behind her wall that had also gotten into an electrical outlet. We are so lucky nothing catastrophic happened. We contacted Bob’s company right away and he came out within the hour to take a look at what was going on. He determined that there was a large leak that had been slowly building up over time and due to the large amount of rain that had happened recently that the wall finally gave. The leak had started due to flashing that had been improperly installed by someone previous to her home ownership and had not been detected during the inspection. The end result was that the wall on both the 1st and 2nd floor had to be totally ripped down to the studs, they checked for mold and and remediation that needed to be done. Bob’s crew quickly got up to tarp the roof to keep from any further damage due to ongoing rain and then began to dry out the area and work to not only repair the flashing, replace frame work for the walls, installed new electrical wiring and outlets, put new insulation in and then sheet rock and painted the rooms affected. Bob was on the site overseeing his contractors, working with the insurance company to be sure everything was covered and that my daughter had no out of pocket expenses. He explained the entire process so my daughter could clearly understand all the work needing to be complete and met all the deadlines. Each night his crew cleaned the work area and left it tidy and neat. He gave my daughter and our family complete peace of mind as he took the headache out of having to coordinate and complete work and make sure the insurance company covered the costs of all the repairs.
